Fused Glass Fish by Nancy Wadelton

Since I live in close to the ocean in New Smyrna Beach, Florida I have an interest in the marine life in the area. I decided to challenge myself using my kiln to make realistic looking fish with fused glass. These pieces are made completely of glass, no paint is involved. The glass has been layered and fused multiple times. Stringers and other lampworked inclusions and hand made glass frit have been used to create the details.
